Simplify Your Coffee Run
It’s amazing to see how many iPhone apps and websites pop up everyday. Soon there will be an app or website for every single thing I could possibly want to do. Nice and convenient, but also a little scary.
This week Dunkin Donuts launched an iPhone app and corresponding website, Dunkin’ Run. For those of us that don’t have an iPhone, like myself, I am glad we can still access this great new tool online.
This tool is genius, especially for anyone that works in an office. There are many, and I mean many coffee lovers at the San Diego marketing agency I work at, who would especially enjoy this tool.
This video, posted on MediaPost, gives a great overview of how this application works.
One thing I feel Dunkin Donuts is missing is the option to pay online. That would make it even more convenient.
Now if only there were Dunkin Donuts in Southern California, I am sure my office would have already placed 78 Dunkin’ Runs. I wish the Starbucks, which is one block from our Hillcrest office, would offer this.
Starbucks: this is a great way (you don’t even need to come up with the idea) to make a lot of money. If you jump on the bandwagon, maybe you can one-up Dunkin Donuts. Let’s say if the office is within a half mile radius of the coffee shop, Starbucks will deliver the coffee (of course there would need to be a minimum amount of coffee ordered). These days, I think there is a Starbucks within a half mile radius of anywhere in San Diego, so most offices could benefit from this.
So, Starbucks, you up for the challenge?

There are Dunkin Donuts in So Cal! You are in luck.
Thanks for letting me know Callan. I am curious on where this location is because on Dunkin Donuts website, I can’t find one and when doing a Google search for “Dunkin Donuts in Southern California” nothing shows up either. Where is this mystery location?
Please tell me where to find a Dunk’s! I miss my old stomping ground! Thanks Becca for posting this. My only question is why didn’t DD’s think of this during the 5 years I worked there? People used to come in with their 2-sided chicken scratch notes. It’s a brilliant idea!
