Hi! Am trying to create a page and for the life of me, i cannot find the tabs you spoke about. gone thru the bottom left and right of my home page but i cannot find ads and pages….please help

Hi Ana,

Thanks for your question! There are no privacy settings for Facebook Fan Pages, so your page should be visible to the general public. The only thing I could guess is that they aren’t searching properly. I’d recommend making sure you have a custom URL and then just telling people to put the URL in directly.

Cassandra, you need to select your custom URL, otherwise Facebook just assigns you a bunch of random numbers as your URL. You’ll need at least 25 fans to do so.

hey there

thanks so much for the tips. I wondered if you could tell me how I find the facebook name for my page so I can add it to my email signitature

ie i created happyatworknow and thought if I typed in
u http://www.facebook.com/gethappynow it would come up but it doesn’t

can you help. also I could not see the area where you click “publish”

Hey there

Been trying to get the answer to this one for quite a while. My fanpage is only reachable to those who are logged into FBook and NoT to the general public as Facebook claims they are. I realize only a portion of the page would be viewable at the onset, but right now, this ain’t working. Any thoughts or ideas?

Once you login go to the Ads/pages manager. It’s the first button after applications on the bottom left corner. From there it will pull up all the pages you manage and you’ll be able to continue editing!
